On Monday 12 June 2023, Ionel Pop was appointed Managing Director of Foxstream (Vitaprotech Group), a Vaulx-en-Velin-based company specialising in video analysis and intrusion detection.
Ionel POP joined Foxstream in 2007 as part of his doctoral thesis, which he completed in 2010. He then progressed within the company, first as an R&D Engineer, then as Head of Development and finally as R&D Director, before being appointed Managing Director in June 2023. His experience within Foxstream and his expertise, particularly in the fields of data, cloud and artificial intelligence, will enable Foxstream to continue to implement an ambitious growth strategy, in response to the challenges and changes in the security markets, and in line with the Vitaprotech Group’s development prospects.
This change in management is part of a drive to give new international impetus to Foxstream, already a key player in France in the protection of sensitive sites thanks to its intrusion detection solutions using video analysis to secure sites.
